Though there are no formal guidelines to appear for interviews, here are some helpful tips and suggestions you could follow while appearing for your visa interview:

  1. Dress Code: Formal
  2. Arrive on or few minutes before time.
  3. Speak and greet politely and formally.
  4. Make sure you answer all questions, preferably in English or use the embassy verbal translator for the same.
  5. If the interviewer, repeats the questions – do not get nervous. Answer confidently.
  6. Disclose all correct information pertaining to your visa.
  7. Carry all the documents in original with you.
