The Wesley’s representation at India’s largest event of the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit and meeting former Prime Minister of Britain, Mr. Gordon Brown was a complete success. CIO, Charisma A. discussed briefly education in Britain to Mr. Brown whilst he highlighted on the stage the importance of India on the world map and that Indians are are the largest consumers of Scotch in the world.

Leadership has been defined in plethora of ways by many international speakers, successful businessmen to prominent personalities. Where Dr Stephen S. Covey of the ‘Speed of Trust’ and ’7 Habits of Successful People’ describe a good leader to be having the four main credentials; a good leader must: inspire trust, clarify purpose, align systems and must be an unleashed talent. Whereas, Mr. John C Maxwell has described Leadership as “an influence – nothing more and nothing less”.

Leadership does not merely come by style, it is inculcated with an extensive educational background and immense talent to back it up with. Henry Peter Brougham says,

“Education makes a people easy to lead, but difficult to drive; easy to govern, but impossible to enslave.”

International education not only increases the opportunities for growth multi folds but also gears up an individual for higher challenges, innovations and leading organisations at a much larger panorama.

As professionals increase their experience in the workplace, they gain perspective on just how much more they need to know. You must understand that to remain productive and competitive in a rapidly evolving global arena, ongoing learning must be an integral part of your life plan.

To become a global leader, back it up with a global education and global experience.
